Born in Jakarta, the capital city Indonesia, Janita had already published her first novel, Corsage, when she was only 14 years old. At this time, she study in communication major at The London School of Public Relations Jakarta.

Janita has her interests on lifestyles, fashion, books, history and languages. In addition to writing, she also has a great interest on public speaking and event organizing.

She also writing short stories and articles published in various teen magazines such as KaWanku, GADIS, and Provoke!. Her desire to write is expressed as a intern and freelance writer in GADIS and KaWanku Magazine.
